Purpose
Mind2Matter is a community for 3D printing enthusiasts, designers, and makers. These Guidelines explain the behavior we expect from everyone on the platform so that creativity can thrive in a respectful environment.
Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent bans.
Be respectful
Treat fellow makers with courtesy, even when you disagree.
- No harassment, hate speech, slurs, or targeted abuse based on identity or background.
- No threats of violence or encouragement of self-harm.
- No doxing or sharing another person's private information without consent.
- Constructive feedback on models is welcome; personal attacks are not.
Share original and licensed work
Only upload models, images, and descriptions you created or have explicit permission to share.
- Do not repost copyrighted characters, logos, or designs without authorization.
- Credit remixes and derivatives clearly, and respect the original creator's license.
- Flag suspected infringement using our reporting tools rather than public call-outs.
Keep designs safe and lawful
Models must not facilitate harm or illegal activity.
- No weapons, weapon components, or instructions intended to evade detection or regulation.
- No content promoting illegal drugs, fraud, or dangerous activities.
- Include appropriate warnings when a print may require supports, post-processing, or adult supervision.
Quality and accuracy
Provide clear titles, descriptions, print settings, and photos that represent the final result. Misleading thumbnails or false claims about printability undermine trust in the community.
Tag models appropriately so others can discover relevant content.
Fair play in contests
Submit only original entries that meet contest rules. Vote manipulation, duplicate accounts, and plagiarism disqualify entries and may lead to account action.
No spam or manipulation
Do not flood the platform with duplicate uploads, irrelevant links, or promotional content unrelated to 3D printing.
Automated engagement (fake downloads, follows, or comments) is prohibited.
Reporting and enforcement
Use in-platform reporting tools when you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines. Our moderation team reviews reports and may take action at its discretion.
Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent removal from Mind2Matter.
